Apart from this fake alerts,System Progressive Protection will also prevent you from starting certain programs that could lead to its removal and redirect your browser to websites from which the cyber criminals will get affiliate revenue.
This program is defined as a rogue because it deliberately displays false scan results, hijacks the computer so that the victim user are unable to run normal applications, and displays a constant stream of fake security alerts that states the compromised computer is seriously infected so as to scare the user into purchasing its full version to remove the infections.
